Colby grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and attended University of South Carolina – Aiken where she majored in Political Science. After college, Colby attended law school at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduation, Colby returned to the CSRA working in private practice with a small estate planning firm in Martinez for five years.

Joining M. Austin Jackson in 2025, Colby brings her litigation and transactional law experience to serve personal injury clients in both South Carolina and Georgia.

Outside of work, Colby enjoys reading, gardening and trying local restaurants. Colby and her husband live in Aiken, South Carolina, have one child, and are members of Christian Heritage Church.
